CARW Announces 2025 NextGen Class
21 Wisconsin Commercial Real Estate Pros selected for the program
(Milwaukee, WI) — The Commercial Association of REALTORS® Wisconsin (CARW) proudly announces the 2025 NextGen Class! Since its inception in 2018, CARW’s NextGen initiative has been at the forefront of cultivating and strengthening the next generation of commercial real estate professionals in Wisconsin. To date, more than 100 rising stars have completed this 10-month program, which is tailored for industry professionals with fewer than five years of experience. “CARW NextGen is a fast-paced, information-packed initiative that gives participants access to the deal makers in the industry while exposing them to the various sectors within commercial real estate,” said Tracy Johnson, CARW CEO. “The program was developed to help our industry recruit and retain talent while also helping them accelerate their understanding of the people and processes.”
NextGen is built around two core components that offer a well-rounded experience for participants. The first is a series of monthly in-person meetings, where industry leaders from various sub-sectors of commercial real estate—such as attorneys, bankers, and brokers—share their expertise and insights. The second focuses on community engagement through activities like field trips, social events, and networking opportunities. “We are thrilled to welcome the CARW NextGen Class of 2025 as they embark on this exciting journey of professional growth and collaboration,” said Michael Testa, CCIM, Chair of the NextGen Committee. “This program continues to shape the future leaders of our industry, fostering invaluable connections and insights. I can’t wait to see the innovation and energy this group brings to the table in the years ahead!”
Founded in 1993, the Commercial Association of REALTORS® Wisconsin (CARW) works to advance the interests of individual practitioners and the industry through education, professional development, public affairs & advocacy, professional standards & ethics, and business networking. CARW supports more than 900 commercial real estate professionals in over 500 companies in Wisconsin and the region. Members represent more than 36.5m square feet of commercial real estate available for sale, and nearly 63m square feet available for lease.
