CARW was recognized by RPAC Wisconsin for fundraising efforts and has received the “Highest Per Capita Contributor” award in the Large Board Category. The award was given for fundraising activities in 2019. Those fundraising activities were for REALTOR PAC efforts as well as conduit fundraising. These dollars support candidates from both political parties and issues that advance business, reduce regulation and attempt to lower the property tax. Each year, members are given the opportunity to contribute during dues renewal. In 2019, nearly 60% of members participated. Additionally, the Large Donor Council is made up of members who support the PAC at the highest levels and pool dollars to strategically support State and local candidates. Candidates may be authors or sponsors of legislation or they may represent leadership which help navigate hearings.
