CARW NextGen Applications are Open!

What is NextGen?
CARW NextGen is an initiative focused on helping member firms recruit and retain commercial real estate professionals by giving access to up-and-coming real estate professionals to information and experts. The 10-month program will provide participants with varying perspectives and insights into the multi-faceted nature of commercial real estate from experienced real estate professionals. This experience will improve individuals and the industry – for now, and in the future.

NextGen consists of two components. The first component is a mandatory monthly meeting over ten months highlighting leaders from various sub-sectors of commercial real estate (legal, construction, brokerage, finance, etc.). Each meeting is held in person at 250 E Wisconsin, Milwaukee, WI (1st-floor conference room). The second component of the program involves community engagement “field trips”, social events, and happy hours to encourage further networking. The program gives individuals with fewer than five years of experience in commercial real estate, access and exposure to a variety of disciplines while fostering strong relationships within the real estate community.

Who is eligible?
CARW NextGen Program is open to CARW members in good standing with plans to renew for 2026, with fewer than five years of commercial real estate experience. Please note: if you are not a CARW member at the time of consideration, you will not be eligible.

How do I participate?
CARW NextGen participants are determined through an application process. 15-25 individuals will be selected from those who apply. To be considered for NextGen, the applicant must be an active member of CARW in good standing with plans to renew for 2026. The application REQUIRES a letter of recommendation (firm leader or industry mentor), resume, and a 10-month commitment to the program. Applications will be reviewed in the order they are received though this will not be a defining criterion for whether an applicant is accepted. If admitted to the program, a program fee of $100 (REALTOR rate) or $150 (Affiliate rate) will be billed to the applicant.
