Recent feedback from both REALTOR® and affiliate members provides a clear picture of where CARW is delivering value and where there is opportunity to grow. Overall sentiment remains strong, particularly among REALTOR® members, with a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 63, up from 53 last year. Affiliate sentiment remains steady, with an NPS of 52, consistent year over year.
Across both groups, one theme stands out. Networking continues to be the primary driver of member value. Engagement is strongest at in-person events, with high participation in marquee conferences (~79%), happy hours and mixers (~62%), and the annual holiday party (~63%). These touchpoints remain critical in fostering connections and driving business development, with many members indicating they actively conduct business with others within the CARW network.
While engagement is strong in key areas, the data also highlights opportunities to increase awareness and utilization of certain member benefits. Programs such as RPAC, CCIM course discounts, and select data tools showed lower engagement levels, indicating a need for more intentional positioning and communication. CARW’s recent efforts to lean into more strategic branding and targeted messaging for REALTOR® members have already yielded positive results, reinforcing the impact of clearly communicating value.
Education continues to be viewed as a valuable component of membership, though participation does not always align with interest. Many members expressed strong intent to attend continuing education opportunities in the future, suggesting that timing, accessibility, or format may be barriers to current attendance.
Affiliate feedback reinforces the importance of networking while also highlighting opportunities to enhance tools that support business development. The member directory, for example, is seen as moderately valuable but has the potential to become a more central and well-utilized resource for connecting members and facilitating deals.
Members also identified several key industry challenges, including rising construction costs, ongoing interest rate and financing pressures, and regulatory uncertainty. These insights provide direction for future programming and content, ensuring CARW remains aligned with the evolving needs of its membership.
Overall, the survey results reflect a strong foundation of engagement and value, particularly through networking and relationship-building. There is also a clear opportunity to build on recent momentum by strengthening awareness, refining messaging, and aligning programming with member needs. This positions CARW as a central hub for business development and industry insight across Wisconsin.
