CARW Policy Committee members met with State Senator and Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald on Thursday, May 14th to discuss the Supreme Court Decision regarding the Safer at Home Order #28 as well as the process for Wisconsin businesses to begin opening up. We discussed ideas for dealing with future pandemics and possible closures, as well as the State budget related to capital projects and the prospects of reconvening to discuss COVID relief. This session was one of a series of ongoing discussions with legislative and administrative leaders related to Wisconsin business and COVID-19.
