On Monday, March 25, commercial real estate professionals gathered to hear about one of the latest projects announced in Milwaukee’s Harbor District – the R1ver 
Development, led by Michels Corporation. Attendees received a glimpse into the project’s beginnings, the challenges faced, and the vision for the multi-building, mixed use campus. The project will encompass 220,000 square feet of office space, 67 residential units, 19,000 square feet of retail space and a 103-room hotel. The five-building project will also include more than 1,000 feet of activated riverwalk, bike paths and multiple boat slips as well as parking. When asked about choosing the site for this project, they cited access to workforce, close proximity to I-94 and short distance from the Airport. More information about the project is HERE.
