On Sunday, May 9, CARW CEO Tracy Johnson, joined Near West Side Partners Executive Director, Keith Stanley and others to discuss the recent meeting with the FHWA (Federal Highway Administration) regarding the funding for I-94 East-West corridor reconstruction. See clip HERE. The reconstruction project has been included in Governor Evers budget and is funded in large part federally. In April, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation announced plans to undergo a supplemental EIS (Environmental Impact Statement) to gather more public input on the project. The process is anticipated to bring approval for I-94 the project by late 2022.
