On February 21, CARW Leadership and Policy Committee members met with Governor Tony Evers in Milwaukee. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss, in advance of the release of the State Budget, the issues important to commercial real estate. Following brief remarks from the Governor, leaders from CARW were able to highlight examples of how members may be a resource for the new administration. As first point of contact for employers entering the State, commercial real estate practitioners engage with businesses on issues around incentives, workforce and infrastructure. Leadership was also able to discuss the importance of remaining a State that is seen as friendly to manufacturers, start-ups and other job creators.
