Access to infrastructure is a top priority for commercial real estate practitioners and their clients. Support of investments in those projects have required local, state and national advocacy and our organization has been working, alongside other organizations, to keep them moving forward. One of the most visible projects over the past several yeas has been the expansion of I-94 East/West. This is a 3.5 mile corridor between the Marquette Interchange and the Zoo Interchange, both which have recently received major overhaul investments. The I-94 Expansion is once again being considered for enumeration in the 2021-2022 State Budget. This would allow the DOT to continue planning for the preferred alternative that would result in the completed project by 2029. Tracy Johnson also appeared on WTMJ advocating for the enumeration of the project.
