This committee assists in the planning of the annual Commercial Real Estate Roundtable Forum and the monthly business development luncheon programs – Lunch & Learns as well as the Rainmaker Event in the fall. The committee identifies other programs of interest to members relating to commercial real estate issues, provides input regarding topics, speaker selection, and develops a sponsorship program.

This committee provides direction relating to membership development and retention efforts, facilitates member recruitment campaigns, and provides input regarding the association’s affinity programs, products, and services offered to members. This group also plans outreach efforts and events such as Broker Happy Hour.

Professional Standards | Staff Contact – Tracy Johnson)
This committee reviews ethics and professional standards complaints. Working with the ethics advisor and executive director, this committee will assemble as needed.

Public Affairs | Staff Contact – Tracy Johnson)
This committee tracks local issues impacting the commercial real estate industry and provides input to the Wisconsin REALTORS® Association regarding legislative and regulatory concerns that affect the industry from a state level, as well as provides recommendations to the CARW Board of Directors regarding necessary action items. The committee also reviews national commercial agenda items.

CRE Deal of the Year | Staff Contact – Tracy Johnson
This group will help solicit nominations and the selection of the CARW Deals of the Year and serve as advisors on the programming for the annual awards event including the selection of the judging panel, assistance with recruiting participants, and more. Deal of the Year Committee Participants vary year-to-year.

NextGen Program | Staff Contact – Alexis Strode
This group oversees the matching of individuals in cross-industry networking circles as well as the implementation of other programs that invite commercial real estate professionals at all levels to share best practices, networking, and industry knowledge. This is reserved for past NextGen participants.

REALTORS Political Action Committee (RPAC)
This committee works with the membership to raise funds and awareness to support issues and candidates who advocate for their interests. RPAC is one of the largest trade association PACs in the world, and in Wisconsin.
