Balancing the Financial Package: Benefits, Executive Compensation, and Employment Contracts (Including an Analysis of the “Big Beautiful Bill”)

In their session, Kelly Haab-Tallitsch and Rebecca Bush will offer insight into current trends, compliance challenges, and best practices for structuring compensation packages, negotiating executive agreements, and managing benefit plans. The discussion will also address key rules, opportunities, and compliance requirements due to the “Big Beautiful Bill”. From additional tax deductions for workers to new savings vehicles for children, the benefits-related sections introduce changes that span traditional compensation structures, family support programs, and organizational compliance obligations.

Labor and employment laws continue to evolve across state lines, creating complex challenges for employers. Jeff Risch and Beverly Alfon explore the legal differences shaping the workplace, including, wage and hour requirements, medical and non-medical leave mandates, paid leave obligations, noncompete/restrictive covenant enforcement, and equal pay issues. Attendees will gain clarity on how state political climates influence workplace regulations and what employers need to consider when developing and organizing policies across jurisdictions.
