Last week, WHEDA launched the final Workforce and Senior Housing Loan Program, the $50 million “More Like Home™ Repair and Renew Loan Program.” This program offers low-interest loans of up to $50,000 to rejuvenate homes built before 1984, covering essentials like roofing, windows, heating, electrical, plumbing and even lead paint or mold remediation.
This is the final part of the $525 million Workforce and Senior Housing bill signed into law last year, a key priority for the WRA’s advocacy. All four programs—Infrastructure Access, Restore Main Street, Vacancy-to-Vitality, and More Like Home™—are now accepting applications.
