From CARW chairman Curt Pitzen –
It was just two weeks ago that the initial Foxconn announcement was made. This significant manufacturing and workforce project is also one of the largest commercial real estate opportunities in recent history.
Members of our industry stand strongly in support of the project and prospects for a multi-billion dollar manufacturing facility that will bring thousands of jobs to our region. In addition to the $10 billion in capital investment and 13,000 new manufacturing jobs anticipated at the Foxconn facility itself, the Foxconn project will create new opportunities in supply chain and service industries throughout the region and the entire state of Wisconsin.
Here are several resources to show more of what Foxconn is about:

Many numbers have been used to support the project and others have cast doubt about the company’s ability to meet economic development goals. The legislature is currently working on the specifics of the incentive package offered by the State and a vote to move it through the committees is upon us.
Members have asked us ‘what can we do?’ to ensure we don’t let the opportunity pass us by. Some have proactively reached out to their legislators to let them know they encourage their support of measures to ENSURE THAT FOXCONN WILL COME TO WISCONSIN.
NOW is when legislators need to hear from you.
Please contact your legislator and let them know how critical this project and this bill is to continuing to make sure Wisconsin remains the best place in the country to do business, not only for new companies like Foxconn, but for all our hard working job creators across the state.
