Election Day is coming up fast — the Wisconsin Partisan Primary is Tuesday, August 11, and we’re encouraging every member to make a plan to vote.
Primaries decide who appears on the November ballot, which means this is often where the real decisions get made. Turnout in primary elections is typically much lower than in general elections, so every vote carries extra weight. The candidates chosen on August 11 will shape the choices available to voters this fall — on issues that directly affect our local business climate, workforce, and community investment.
Before You Head to the Polls
Take a few minutes this week to make sure you’re ready:
- Confirm your registration. Make sure your address and information are current.
- Find your polling place. Locations occasionally change between elections.
- See what’s on your ballot. Know who and what you’ll be voting on before you arrive.
- Check your ID requirements and hours. Avoid any surprises on Election Day.
