Matthew joined Hunter Real Estate in 2025 and focuses on landlord and tenant representation. Prior to joining Hunter, Matthew graduated from Marquette University having double majored in commercial real estate and finance. He worked at two other commercial real estate firms in Milwaukee as a investment sales broker and market researcher. Having grown up in Milwaukee, Matthew is an lifelong Marquette Basketball fan and currently resides outside of downtown Milwaukee.
Q) What do you enjoy the most about commercial real estate?
A) What I enjoy most about commercial real estate is that it is a physical asset, it is something that you can see with your eyes and be able to walk through. Every building is different and has its own unique features.
Q) Where did you grow up?
A) Even though I was born in Minnesota, my family’s roots brought us back to Wisconsin and I grew up in Elm Grove.
Q) What’s your favorite place to travel to?
A) For over 60 years, my family has traveled to the same lake resort in Rhinelander, WI.
Q) What made you choose Commercial Real Estate?
A) I chose my path in commercial real estate when I was deciding which college to attend. Ultimately, my decision came down to the fact that Marquette University offered a day one commercial real estate program.
Q) What do you hope to get out of your NextGen Experience?
A) I hope to gain additional knowledge and insights into the real estate industry by learning other aspects of the business. Through this, I can become a more well-rounded professional when it comes to sharing my knowledge with other members of the real estate community and those I am looking to serve.
