Q) What do you enjoy the most about commercial real estate?
A) I really enjoy the variety of my day to day role. I can go from underwriting, to cold calling, to touring a manufacturing facility all in the same day.
Q) What is the best piece of advice you have received?
A) Never be afraid to ask for what you want. Worst case scenario, you get a no.
Q) Where did you grow up?
A) I grew up in Evanston, just north of Chicago, and my family moved to Door County, WI when I was 16.
Q) What made you choose Commercial Real Estate?
A) I grew up helping my dad renovate single-family rental properties, so I’ve always been around real estate. Additionally, some of the most engaging professors I had at UW-Madison were in my real estate courses which naturally led me in this direction.
Q) What’s your favorite place to travel to?
A) Florida. Nothing beats a day on the water followed up with some drinks and boiled peanuts at Owen’s Fish Camp in Sarasota.
Q) What do you hope to get out of your NextGen Experience?
A) I’m really excited to not only learn about the various topics in the NextGen meetings, but also meet and interact with people from all facets of commercial real estate. I’m hoping to build relationships not only with the other members of the 2026 class, but also with everyone else we meet along the way.
