We were pleased to welcome Senator Leah Vukmir who joined us early this week to talk about the Wisconsin State Budget discussions, including high-priority issues for CARW and the Commercial Real Estate industry including infrastructure and the I-94 E/W corridor, historic tax credit and property tax relief. Members had good discussion about other issues including education, community development, safety and even the most effective means of communicating with legislators. Senator Vukmir has been an ally to our industry for many years and is a member of the Wisconsin Joint Finance Committee (JFC).
