The CARW and ICSC Retail Conference is scheduled for April 20th. The full-day conference will feature multiple speakers, a retailer runway, and networking.
The committee is proud to announce that Sendik’s co-owner, Ted Balistreri will keynote the event. A third generation grocer, Ted Balistreri co-owns the 12-store Sendik’s Food Markets operation with his two brothers and sister. A graduate of both UW-Madison and Marquette, Balistreri has lived in Wisconsin his entire life. He grew up working in Sendik’s markets with his father, bringing a wealth of knowledge to his work as leader of the company. Ted offers a wide scope of experience, and a great story of a family business thriving in Wisconsin, despite the growth of competition from the outside.
