Commercial Association of REALTORS® Wisconsin (CARW) has been awarded the ACE (Accredited Commercial Excellence) Award for Legislative Advocacy for the association’s work on arena funding for the Milwaukee Bucks arena. This award is given to one chapter annually for its efforts to move a legislative issue. CARW is one of 1,300 REALTOR chapters in the United States.
The announcement was made at the November National Association of REALTORS conference in San Diego, CA.
CARW was a vocal supporter of the arena development stemming from an all-member survey in late 2014, seeking insights and opinions from the membership related to location, funding and role of CARW in the process. Over nine months, CARW members engaged in calls and visits to State and local legislators, press conferences, public hearings and numerous PR campaigns.
