Join The Wisconsin Policy Forum on Friday, Dec. 13, for the Forum Friday virtual event looking at how Wisconsin will continue to fund its transportation system amid heightened challenges including inflation and electric vehicle adoption. This is a key issue for economic development in Wisconsin and CARW participated in this valuable study.
An upcoming Forum report will unpack these challenges — and outline options for how state transportation revenues could be sustainably aligned with spending needs. Policymakers face hard choices to accomplish this, and the guest panel, including CARW’s CEO, Tracy Johnson, will share insights on how to do so.
Panelists will include: Julie Esch, Interim Managing Director, Milwaukee County Transit System; Mark Gottlieb, former Wisconsin Department of Transportation Secretary; Steve Baas, CEO and President for Transportation Builders Association; and Tracy Johnson (Peplinski), RCE, CAE, CEO, CARW – Commercial Association of REALTORS Wisconsin®.
The program will conclude with a Q&A session for registered participants. Registration is free but required for this event. Click HERE for registration.
