2025 Wisconsin Retail Real Estate Conference – Event Recap
Thanks to everyone who joined us at this year’s Wisconsin Retail Real Estate Conference! It was a fantastic day of learning, networking, and big-picture thinking with professionals from across the retail real estate world—brokers, developers, investors, attorneys, lenders, and more.
We kicked things off with an incredible keynote from Garrick Brown, one of the nation’s top retail analysts. With 25+ years in the industry and deep insights into market trends, Garrick delivered an energetic and eye-opening talk about where retail is headed—and how we can all stay ahead of the curve.
Our featured panel brought together top voices in the industry to talk about how retail is being reinvented—here in Wisconsin and across the country. From adaptive reuse and mixed-use trends to investor sentiment and future growth areas, the discussion covered a lot of ground and offered practical takeaways. Our roundtable sessions gave attendees the chance to dive into the details with peers and pros. Topics ranged from construction costs and retailer trends to financing, zoning, location data, and market updates from Madison, Milwaukee, and beyond. Each 20-minute session offered fresh insights and honest conversations on what’s working—and what’s not.
