MILWAUKEE – Commercial Association of REALTORS® Wisconsin (CARW), the voice of commercial real estate, is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2020 Deals of the Year. The announcements were made online during a virtual presentation that took place at the Irgens BMO Tower, in the Michael Best suites on the 23rd floor.
The prestigious CARW Deal of the Year recognition was awarded in five categories: Development, Industrial, Investment, Office and Retail. A complete list of finalists can be found by visiting www.carw.com.
The recipients showcase the talents of brokers and commercial real estate professionals negotiating deals, identifying solutions and serving clients to create economic development opportunities. Deals closed between August 1, 2019, and July 31, 2020.
“Every project started and completed this year is worthy of significant recognition,” said Tracy Johnson, President and CEO for CARW. “The pandemic has highlighted the resiliency and creativity of our commercial real estate professionals in Wisconsin.” CARW members were active throughout the COVID-19 shutdowns as they were classified as essential workers. “As essential workers, members of the commercial real estate industry helped clients ensure continuity of business and assisted with safe re-entry to the workplace,” Johnson added. “While the day to day work is about buildings and infrastructure, at it’s core, this business is about people.”
