The last several months have proven very busy for our commercial real estate industry. Not only are the members busy with the day to day business of deals and transactions, but staff, both local and state, through WRA, are working hard to deliver on the issues that help you and your business. In April, CARW took a leading role on the discussion to transform our transportation funding in Wisconsin. Our efforts included meetings with legislators on Government day, letters and a press conference. We are currently involved in a coalition that is working surgically to help ensure the most positive and sustainable outcome for our industry. The current GOP if you have not seen it, is HERE.
Also, this week, you will be receiving a “call to action” from the WRA Chairman, Erik Sjowall. This call to action is part of our statewide effort to preserve the State of Wisconsin Historic Tax Credit program that is a proven economic driver for many communities. More than 15,000 people received this call to action – please follow the simple instructions to correspond with your state legislators.
