We will cover the State Supreme Court candidates in more detail in separate communication.
The four candidates running in the February spring primary for Milwaukee County Executive are highlighted below. The Milwaukee County Executive has played a crucial role for our organization over the past 7-10 years, particularly because our Industry’s strong relationship with leadership. We worked closely with the administrations on the Park East Development and Bucks Arena, initiatives at General Mitchell Airport, and transit and transportation options.
Counties are generally responsible for social services, such as child welfare, job training, and care of the elderly; and public land management, such as care of parks. Law enforcement and road maintenance are also administered by the county, in conjunction with local municipalities.
