The CARW Board of Directors and working group have identified a new Data Exchange provider for the Southeastern Wisconsin market and CARW members. This Data Exchange was formerly managed by Xcelignet which filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy on December 14. The Board of Directors researched a variety of options and worked closely with association counterparts throughout the country to identify a solution that will be launched this week (week of January 2, 2018). The Wisconsin Data Exchange will work directly with RediComps on the Catylist platform to supply the data and marketing for the market and facilitate the research and reports. Data already exists for the Southeastern Wisconsin Market and resources to get the system running quickly are being secured.
The purpose of the Wisconsin Data Exchange has and will remain:
- To facilitate the marketing and listing of property, sales, leases, etc. for users and non-users;
- Serve as a marketing platform for users (similar to the Xceligent CDX);
- Allow firms to display listings on their websites through the property listings tool;
- Offer the Wisconsin marketplace researched data;
- Produce quarterly market reports containing analytics;
- Serve as a broker-owned and research driven tool for brokers and the marketplace.
Right now, we are collecting listings from individuals and researchers within the large firms to populate the database. We ask that YOU use the spreadsheet HERE – they will load the databases to populate the database quickly. A listings researcher has already been identified. https://carw.com/wisconsin-listings-submission-spreadsheet/
We will have a demo followed by a formal ‘launch’ of the service on January 3 at 2:00 p.m. You may join the demo which will also be saved as a podcast if you are unable to make the demo.
Once the demo is finished, you will receive an email to follow a series of prompts to logon to the platform, use the email marketing, reports, etc AT NO COST through January 31.
We are negotiating a favorable rate that will not exceed the rates of the former Xceligent Data Exchange product. CARW members will enjoy a member discount for the product as well.
We are optimistic about the course of action and the alignment of the board and working group to identify a solution AND additional opportunities for strategic growth that will be supported by the Data Exchange.
We are also grateful to you, the members, for your engagement.
