The city of Milwaukee’s health department will release this Friday (July 31) details of the phase 4.1 order of its Moving Milwaukee Forward reopening plan, which will address the city’s new mask mandate and safety plans for schools looking to hold in-person sessions.
The city has been in phase 4 of the plan for over 35 days, which has been extended to “exercise more caution as cases continue to rise elsewhere,” according to the department. The 4.1 phase will include information from the department which is planning to require all bars and restaurants that want in-person dining inside to submit a Covid-19 safety plan to the city. We have been involved in a working group with the City to manage details and dates for the planning to ensure a smooth application process and plenty of time for coordination and approval of the plans. Sample plans are available through the City of Milwaukee Health Department website HERE.
Leaders are strongly encouraging owners to get ahead of any deadline that may be put in place which will likely be the end of September
Watch for future information on webinars and assistance for completing the plans and let us know what questions you have.
