He will share insights on how it could benefit from improvements in database management\, information management\, and efficiency – such as multiple listing services (MLS). \nAbout the speaker: Mark Lesswing is the Chief Technology Officer for the National Association of REALTORS®. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University\, and started programming robots just out of college. In 1988\, he began working with object-oriented programming\, and in 1992 he launched a consultancy. He has worked for large database vendors such as Sybase (as a startup) and Oracle\, and spent a summer in Europe setting up operations for a vendor. For three years prior to joining NAR\, Mark was involved in corporate turnarounds.
