DESCRIPTION:The Main Street Bounceback Grants program provides $10\,000 to new or existing businesses and non-profit organizations moving into vacant properties in Wisconsin’s downtowns and commercial corridors. CARW was recently approved to sign a letter of support for applying businesses. \nThis new program through the WEDC will have a great impact on commercial corridors\, no doubt\, but there are questions arising as applications are being filled.  Join us on October 7th for a virtual session with WEDC Secretary Missy Hughes to answer all of your questions about the program. You may submit questions through the registration or by emailing tracy@carw.com \nWe encourage you to submit questions that you have in advance of the program. Sample questions include: \n\nHow does the program work?\nHow do I prepare my application for the Mainstreet Bounceback Grant?\nHow quickly will funds be dispersed for the Mainstreet Bounceback Grant?\nDo I qualify for the Grant?\n\nFunds can be used to pay leases or mortgages\, operational expenses and other business costs related to the newly opened location.
