2016 Friend of CARW: Richard Maslowski, City of Glendale – Richard Maslowski started working as Glendale’s City Administrator in 1980, where he became one of the longest-serving administrators in Wisconsin. Among the many commercial developments that Richard has helped create throughout his career, Bayshore Town Center is of one of the most prominent. After 36 years, Maslowski has recently retired, leaving behind a city that has undergone major changes and has been influenced to a great degree by his leadership. Not only did Maslowski’s leadership change the face of retail and Glendale, but it served as a template for other mixed-use town center designs which can be seen all over southeastern Wisconsin.
