At the CCIM National Conference, Leon Wilkosz, COO for Vanta Commercial Properties, received his CCIM Designation.
A Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) is a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate. The designation is awarded by CCIM Institute. A CCIM is a resource to the commercial real estate owner, investor, and user, and is among a corps of over 9,500 professionals around the globe who hold the CCIM designation.
As Chief Operating Officer for Vanta Commercial Properties, Mr. Wilkosz is responsible for daily operations, including providing the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure the proper operational controls, administrative procedures and people systems are in place to encourage efficiency, growth and success.
Mr. Wilkosz spent his career developing operational procedures for companies of all sizes, as well as working in business planning, business mentoring and refining businesses’ process implementation and capital efficiency. His management expertise developed over a 20-year career with United Parcel Service, where he focused on the management of operations, employee relations, customer service, engineering and facilities management. Mr. Wilkosz serves as an advisor or board member to several local companies in the Madison area.
Prior to joining Vanta Commercial Properties, Mr. Wilkosz was President of DaneVest Capital, owner of Resource Consulting LLC., a Pacific Rim import company, and President of Schweiger Furniture. Mr. Wilkosz graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, holds a Real Estate Broker license and a BOMI Real Property Administrator (RPA®) designation.
