Last week, the House of Representatives, Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, considered a highway reauthorization bill and could tap G-fee revenue for transportation costs. REALTORS need to be heard. Please take action and tell Congress you are opposed to the use of G-Fee revenue for any non-housing related purpose. If this bill passes, it will make home-ownership more expensive and create a questionable funding policy. All of these factors indirectly impact commercial real estate and our economy. Please take action – contact your legislators by clicking HERE.
Bottom Line: Passing a new highway bill is important, and NAR supports many of the provisions in the legislation, but NAR can’t support funding the highway bill through the use of G-Fee revenue. Thank you for taking action. When REALTORS act, Congress listens.
